I have been in for over 10 years. I started developing professionally in 1999 when I was hired by (now Birdsall Interactive). In the beginning, my job consisted of basic HTML edits and website builds, but my talent was quickly recognized and I began working on projects involving more complicated development, such as and tools utilizing ASP and SQL Server. Before parting ways in 2002, I had become a Senior Developer, and worked on some of the company's largest projects.

After Birdsall Interactive, I worked for Pacific Union GMAC Real Estate as their Web Initiatives Manager. I started off as a Marketing Associate in their Danville branch, but quickly found that there was possibility for growth. Before my departure, I was responsible for the maintenance of current tools and websites as well as the development of new ones. The flexibility allowed me to continue expanding my skills.

Currently, I am working full time for 729 Solutions as an ASP.NET Programmer. I have the opportunity to work on some of the biggest, most complicated web applications I have seen in my personal and professional career. It is huge learning experience that will allow me to grow as a web programmer.

My current focus for freelance work is basic websites, and PHP/MySQL or ASP/SQL Server for backend development. As my ASP.NET skills grow, I may start taking on small projects using that language.
